Visit Days, Open Houses & Accepted Students Days
Visit Days will be offered for all students interested in learning more about Clarkson for first year, transfer and the Clarkson School. These are half day events geared towards students who want to learn more about Clarkson, see our campus, and get to know our unique offerings.

Fall Open Houses are for all students interested in learning more about Clarkson for first year, transfer and the Clarkson School. Taking place on Saturdays, these full day events give visiting families the experience to dive in to all Clarkson has to offer, as well as multiple opportunities for faculty, staff and student interaction.

Accepted Students events will take place for all students accepted for Fall 2025 admission, including first year, transfer and Clarkson School in a variety of formats and options. Check back for dates and registration information.

| Overnight Stays for Accepted Students
Once you've applied and have been accepted to Clarkson, you'll also have the opportunity to stay overnight with one of our current students to get the full college experience.

| Engineering Fridays
If you're interested in pursuing our undergraduate engineering programs and are looking to visit campus, consider attending one of our Engineering Friday events. These events, taking place on select Fridays throughout the fall, provide similar opportunities as a personalized visit, including an admissions overview, complimentary lunch at our main dining hall and campus tour, but also include 90 minutes of specialized time with our Coulter School of Engineering and Applied Sciences faculty, staff and students. Each Engineering Friday runs from 8:45 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m.

| Transfer Fridays
Check out events just for transfer students! College fairs, admission info sessions, advisor-in-residence and more! You can also find out how to visit and connect with your transfer counselor.
Transfer Fridays take place on specific Fridays throughout the year. These events provide similar opportunities as a personalized visit like a campus tour, as well as a transfer admissions overview, an academic meeting with a faculty member, lunch at one of our on-campus eateries, and a one-on-one meeting with one of our transfer representatives for an instant admission decision. Activities run from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On-campus interviews are available to schedule at this time, and we continue to offer virtual opportunities for online interviews via video chat.
In-Person Campus Tours
There is no better way to get to know campus than by coming to experience it yourself. Register today for a personalized campus tour led by one of our student tour guides, showcasing our academic and social spaces, athletic facilities, a residence hall room and more.

If you'd like to check out our campus online or in-person on your own, be sure to utilize our online interactive map resources, which include videos, photos, and descriptions of our campus spaces.
We offer several options to meet with faculty, athletic coaches, support staff and current students so that you can learn first-hand about life at Clarkson, including our 50+ academic programs, our 200+ student clubs, and our 20 varsity athletic teams. At this time these meetings remain in a virtual format.
Clarkson welcomes many high school groups throughout the year to create a unique experience for all attendees that is different from our one-on-one visits. Work through a hands-on team activity with the Shipley Center for Innovation, take a tour through our award-winning SPEED labs, and much more.

Self-Guided Campus Tours
If you'd like to check out our campus online or in-person on your own, be sure to utilize our online interactive map resources, which include videos, photos, and descriptions of our campus spaces.
We invite you to join us for our series of Virtual Information Sessions, taking place each week. During each of these sessions, a member of our Admissions team will give a brief presentation about Clarkson, along with the admissions and financial aid process. Then, we will highlight a different department or topic each week, such as the Career Center, Student Success Center, SPEED Teams (engineering design project teams), Student Life and more! All sessions will have current students, along with department faculty/staff, and you will have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
High School Visits & College Fairs

Getting to & Around Campus
All of our undergraduate programs are housed at our main campus in Potsdam, New York, just outside the six million acre Adirondack Park and a short drive from two of Canada's most notable cities - Ottawa and Montreal. Whether you're coming by car, plane, or bus, here are directions to our campus.
Once you're on our campus, you may choose to utilize our campus map. Notable buildings for new guests include Holcroft House, our undergraduate admissions hub; the Student Center, our student life hub; and Cheel Campus Center, home to the Golden Knights Division I men's and women's ice hockey teams.

Dining & Lodging
Potsdam, New York is a welcoming, friendly college town. Located on the banks of the beautiful Raquette River, its tree-lined streets and historic red sandstone buildings give a friendly feel to an array of modern stores and restaurants within walking distance of our campus.
